TuneText

Emerging "Industry"

The TuneText allows saving your customization data as a file (info-Profile).
Just send it to other readers, -- and they will have exactly the same view of the corresponding content that is on your screen!

This can be applied to any TuneText-enabled content, e.g., Web site, eBook, eZine, online courses, both on the Web and on your local machine.

As an example, please download the changes I made to the "HTML 4.0 Reference" eBook: The file I named MyProfile.txt describes my highlights and edits for the first three pages of the eBook.
Of course, you need to have "HTML 4.0 Reference" on your PC (download it now).
Then, run the eBook and import MyProfile.txt into it.
It takes several seconds!

In turn, you can overwrite my changes, completely clear them, or export your previous view. Sharing such info-Profiles in the community of readers and related activity has a great potential to become a mini "industry" by itself!
The key point is: TuneText keeps author's and reader's copyright separately!

Every TuneText Application has an optional Submit service built-in (Ctrl-F12).
The aim is to provide you with a convenient way for submitting your customizations and infoProfiles to remote locations, e.g., dedicated Web servers.
This opportunity is reserved for the advanced users, who may wish to create a groupware system for serving their TuneText community.
